There is a certain breed of photographer that likes waking up at 5am and hiking into the wilderness with a backpack full of photography gear. For some a walk in the park translate into multiple photo opportunities. Equip with their telephoto lenses and monopods wildlife photographers capture the beings of the wild, in their element. This month 1650 Gallery is hosting YOU'RE AN ANIMAL, a juried photography exhibition of all walks of wildlife. Not just lions and tigers and bears, but the entire animal kingdom from squirrels to buffalo, chipmunks to elephants, rhinos to bobcats. Whether shot on safari or from the bedroom window, we explore the diverse animal kingdom!

Fifty nine works have been chosen for the YOU'RE AN ANIMAL exhibition at 1650 Gallery in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles.
