"Happiness is a warm puppy."
~ Charles M. Schulz

1650 Gallery is hosting a juried exhibition and Charity Auction with the theme DOGS, DOGS, DOGS! Dogs are our friends and our companions, full of character, always happy to be with us and eager to give us unconditional love. Plus they're just so darn good looking! 1650 welcomes your submissions to DOGS, DOGS, DOGS. We can't wait to see man's best friend through the eye of your lens!

"I talk to him when I'm lonesome like; and I'm sure he understands. When he looks at me so attentively, and gently licks my hands; then he rubs his nose on my tailored clothes, but I never say naught thereat. For the good Lord knows I can buy more clothes, but never a friend like that."              ~ W. Dayton Wedgefarth

Juror: Galit Rueben is the President and founder of Dogs Without Borders rescue organization. Before coming to the rescue of hundreds of dogs in need she was a set decorator in Hollywood and has a keen eye for both dogs and design. She is excited to juror the DOGS show and looks forward to seeing the diversity and creativity that goes into capturing the essence of our four-legged friends.

Dogs Without Borders is a 501(c) non-profit dog rescue that is dedicated to saving homeless & abandoned dogs from high-kill shelters in the Los Angeles area and to find them permanent and loving homes.
