1650 Gallery is hosting the juried photography exhibition
FLOWER POWER 2012

Flowers have been a perennial favorite of photographers from Imogen Cunningham to Robert Mapplethorpe and beyond; the beauty, color, form, texture and compositions that nature offers in the form of flowers is unmatched.

Artists from around the globe take delight in capturing this natural beauty with the camera lens, and the different approaches taken (natural, documentary, abstract and even surreal) are a testament to the enduring tenacity of the creative spirit.

Fifty five works have been chosen for the FLOWER POWER exhibition at 1650 Gallery in the Echo Park neighborhood of Los Angeles. Additional works have also be selected for an online gallery exhibition page.
